–      Telling suppliers what to do

–      Making endless lists of tasks for others to implement

–      Unloading trucks

–      Sitting behind the sound desk

 

Event management is………..

 

–      Walking around the event and observing

–      Managing suppliers and other resource

–      Identifying problems and working on solutions

–      Guardian of the mission and strategic objectives

–      Maintaining a good H&S and working standard

–      Guest, crew & artists welfare

–      Smooth show/ performance/ content delivery
